Stingray uses cunning to hide within her environment before lashing out with a deadly strike. Also like her spirit animal, she is never without her “stinger”, a blade salvaged from advanced industrial machinery used to cut diamond. Rather than favouring savage butchery and dismemberment, Stingray has been known to leave her foes tattooed with micro-lacerations… all the better for her blade’s deadly poisons to sink in and finish the job. A highly educated scientist with a specialization in Ocean biology, Stingray hails from the same tribe as Lock-On. When he abandoned their tribe and stole their technology, she set out in pursuit. Rumour has it there is a more emotional side to her hunt. Some say Lock-On didn’t just abandon and betray their tribe, his treachery also extended to her, personally. When she catches up with him, and there is no doubt she will, she will remind him that a stingray is not a creature whose wrath one should invoke.
